    A Day To Remember

From the first limo ride to the last dance, President Obama, the first lady, a new administration, and a grateful nation enjoyed a true day in history.

    Day Of Service

From the Lorraine Motel in Memphis to the steps of Congress in Washington, DC, there is a renewed sense of service and pride across the nation on this Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

While Hillary Clinton handily clears her Secretary of State confirmation panel, Eric Holder, Jr is facing a tougher grilling on Capitol Hill.

    A Call To Serve

The future first lady calls on Americans across the nation to commit to a Day of Service

    Americans Admire Obama

A historic turn for the President-elect; a USA Today/Gallup poll shows more Americans admire him than President George W. Bush.

The heat is apparently off President-elect Obama in the Illinois Governor’s Seat-For-Sale scandal.

    Silent Night

Organizers against California’s Prop 8 are putting out a coast-to-coast call to action—days before Christmas. But they say they want their impression to be one of large numbers, not noisy protest.

    Seat For Sale?

A political bombshell out of Illinois: Governor Rod R. Blagojevich is accused of trying to sell President-elect Barack Obama’s seat in the US Senate to the highest bidder. (Warning: Strong Language Ahead)

    Humble Beginnings

We at RP like to think we know how to take a page from the President-elect.

It’s in his spirit of drive and determination we’re starting a site dedicated to bringing you how Barack Obama has changed lives, and how the fight for civil rights and social causes are shaped by the believers that stood up with him—and vowed to take back control of the country. His story was one that changed the nation —and now we want to hear how he’s changed you.

You may have noticed in your local paper a call to visit us and share that story. If you haven’t done it yet, we invite you to email your story to news@renegadepresident.com, or simply click on “full story” and leave a reply. Please make sure you include photos or video if you have it, and let us know if we can use your name. To those of you who have already shared, we appreciate the stories already coming in, and we’re working hard to get them ready to bring to you.

This site is an experiment we can’t wait to see grow and thrive, but it certainly can’t happen without you. The nation is ready for change, and RP is going to bring it all your way...
